Breakfast was tasty, and the staff at breakfast were exceptional

Nice hotel let down by poor workmanship.
Convenient for the purpose of our stay. Staff and breakfasts were very good but our room facilities were not up to expected standard.
Bathroom door looked as if had been used for other purposes and had then been painted and hung, did not close. Paintwork looked to have been done by Jobit and co, not good, door hinges painted over so were peeling! I had to find docket to plug phone cable into before I could phone reception. Wardrobe door did not close when putting clothes away.

Clean, well positioned hotel with good gluten free breakfast options.
Gluten free options were available and very clearly marked. House keeping/cleaning staff were very good. The hotel was well maintained.
Large party seemed to arrive late and were banging doors when we were on our second night there. Could have done with a second bedside lamp.
